Hi, welcome to me and Kyle's page, my name is Jesus. I hope you have the time to read our blog posts, we are writing blogs to show our growth through out reading and writing. But not only in the class room and in school, also in life. The blogs are also to show how we grew as readers and writers in life outside of school, and what strategies we have picked up. We are doing this because #1 this is an exit project #2 also so that others like the seventh grade could look at what we are writing so they can learn from our information. But not to copy it only learn from it. #3 and most importantly so we can leave something behind because this is our last year in middle school.
My outside life
My outside life is all just about having a good time, especially with friends. After school I don't do much but at home thats when school work matters because I get the rest of the day to read and/or write. Since I lived in the same building for 14 years all of my reading and writing experiences stuck with me, I forgot what age was I when I started reading, I think I was about two or three. I know that by the age of three I already knew how to write my name, the teacher at my day care was surprised because....well you know, its not everyday where you see a three year old writing their name without any help. I think reading was the most difficult thing I learned as a child, because I talked with a lisp, even though I still though, I never pronounced stuff that start with a "th" correctly (I still can't), and the thing that was always annoying for me was that I alwaysed re-read the same sentence. I learned how to reduce the chances of that happening. Writing was really easy for me, the only challenges was writing neatly and writing the letters on the lines of lined paper, then again every one has that problem at a very young age. My outside life is mostly just about kick'n back, having fun and when its time to do work, I do the work.

My reading life (kyle)
I didn't start reading harry potter series until my mom bought me one through four as a Christmas present. When I got the books I really got interested into the books I was like magic is awseome.Then my mom was reading the harry potter books on her spare times saying things about hog warts, harry and voldermort.i said "if you like reading harry potter so much why don't you marry him".After reading the books and the harry potter books 1-4.Me and my mom was waiting for the 5th harry potter books-known as the harry potter and the order of pheonix.
This text is for the next 8th grade classes. If you a new student that just arrived to UNMS and is in the eighth grade, all you need to know is to respect the teachers, do all your work, and get along with others. For those of you who have been here since six or seventh grade, you should already know how the teachers are. But the eighth grade is a whole new level, there are more expectations. If you wanna pass the eighth grade your gonna have to work hard and study, because it won't be like the seventh and six grade where you can fail one or two classes and pass. You have to pass all classes, also respect the teachers because when you are an eighth grader your practically a high schooler and the teachers will treat like high schoolers, and just by disrespecting them will make your grades go lower. The eigthth grade is easy only if you do all of your work, because no one is gonna be there to help you and do your work for you, you're responsable for your self.
